The Easy Peel Way to Boil an Egg

How frustrating is it to boil your eggs, and go to peel them, and the shell comes off hard, or the eggs stick to the shell leaving behind huge gouges. This is especially frustrating when you are trying to put together an attractive deviled egg tray. So I have put together this post to show you the easy peel way to boil an egg.

  • Put your eggs in the bottom of a pot

  • Fill water to an inch above the top of the eggs

  • Set on a burner that is running on high

  • Add ½ tsp of salt and ½ tsp of baking soda

  • Once eggs come to a rolling boil turn the burner off, and cover the pot

  • Set a timer for  12 minutes

  • Run under cold water for a couple of minutes, and peel immediately
